Leslie Cuthbert HCA Immediate Past Chair SAHCA covered case theory as the foundation of trial advocacy in the Magistrates and Crown Court followed by a rapid fire advocacy session named “20 top advocacy tips in 20 minutes”.  SAHCA hosted a very successful post lunch advocacy breakout session which received phenomenal feedback.

Kate Aubrey-Johnson, Director of the Youth Justice Legal Centre, project of Just for Kids Law, is a Barrister at this ground breaking organisation revolutionising the approach to youth justice and she covered essential Youth Court advocacy

Paul Keleher QC of 25 Bedford Row.  Leading Criminal Barrister presented essential sentencing updates in this session.

Greg Foxsmith President of the London Criminal Courts Solicitors’ Association closed the conference with a humorous and upbeat look at our industry from a President’s perspective.
