May 2016 London Spring Criminal Defence Conference

Greg Foxsmith HCA, ex-president of the LCCSA and Rudi Fortson QC of 25 Bedford Row crime team were our main speakers at this very well attended event that once again attracted 500 solicitors at a Central London conference centre .

Rudi Fortson QC of 25 Bedford Row addressed the conference on the essential “must know” new laws on Joint Enterprise flowing from the case of Jogee with a further paper on the critical brand new drug laws in the Psychoactive Substances Act 2016. Both sessions offered a full open floor question and answer exchange.

Duncan Jones 25BR spoke on Better Case Management and new electronic formats and procedures for pre-trial and pre hearing matters with an insight into the digital changes ahead.
