HIGH CALIBRE–TOP SCORING-WELCOMING-PIONEERING- CREATIVE- ENGAGING
NON HIERARCHICAL-DYNAMIC-POLISHED-BRILLIANT- EMPOWERING- ON POINT
We strongly believe that the modern social welfare lawyer must have at their fingertips a multi disciplinary skill set which bridges the real problems faced by vulnerable clients under a previously unseen and worsening political and legal landscape.
All conscientious social welfare lawyers in this present culture now more than ever need a multiply versed fluency in crime, housing, immigration and human rights law, so oppressive has the state agency become in brutally overpowering those in the most dire need.
Our organisation seeks to make that empowerment of our best lawyers an easy process by training and socialising together across the boundaries which need separate us no further.
Freshly rolled out for the newly implemented Continuing Competence scheme our high calibre
conferences and imaginative seminars are designed to train delegates to the very highest standards with an imaginative selection of essential cross boundary legal updates keeping the industry up to date, and on point.
Our Social Housing Law training conferences in London and Manchester are presented by the very best
Solicitors, Barristers, experts and QCs in the country. Our delegates regularly give 100% feedback scores reflecting the popularity of our events.
We provide the very best barristers to deliver a polished range of lectures which include practical
procedures, strategies, tactics, advocacy and case management tips including the sharpest academic
focus on up to the minute case law updates. We provide comprehensive course notes with accomplished
and vastly experienced speaker profiles. We provide leading Counsel and QCs who offer an engaging
range of specific lectures covering the complete spectrum of Social Housing Law topics. We regularly
invite specialist solicitors and experts to speak as well.
This organisation is run by friends and colleagues working at all levels of their careers and offers a 360-degree holistic approach to the future of our professions adopted by our non-hierarchical team as an ethical core.
The originating ethos of our organisation is that our development of these events both academic and
social is borne out in our friendships created during our arduous commitment to our work.
The Law Friends Society started at the back of the Blind Beggar Pub, Whitechapel and now
covers London, Manchester and the UK. We provide excellent parties in unique locations for our
members and a recent networking party saw 450 solicitors and barristers from 125 firms and chambers
enjoy the party of the summer aboard HMS President. We support numerous charities along the way
as well (see archive and charity pages).
We are called the Law Friends Society and we would like you to be a part of our national network and
share in our commitment to providing an ethical social and training platform for those who defend and provide advocacy in social welfare law.
Thank you for your support
