Vishal has a busy criminal practice appearing in the Crown Courts. He both defends and prosecutes and is currently awarded Grade 1 status on the Crown Prosecution Service’s Advocacy Panel. Vishal is experienced in representing clients charged with a variety of offences, including rape, sexual offences, serious violence, drug offences, armed robbery, domestic violence, fraud and driving offences.

Prior to undertaking pupillage at Great James Street Chambers at the beginning of his career at the Bar, Vishal worked as both a caseworker and legal policy adviser with solicitors’ firms, NGOs, local and national government dealing with complex immigration and criminal matters.

Vishal has extensive experience in immigration law. He has appeared in both the First-Tier and Upper Tribunals with an extensive knowledge of the immigration rules, the EU Settlement Scheme and asylum and humanitarian protection.
